Description
Day 1: Arrival – Amman Upon disembarking craft, you will go through halls till immigration area, where you will meet our representative who will be holding a board sign of your name, he will lead you through procedures and deliver you till coach. Transfer to Amman hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Amman – Jerash – Ajloun – Amman After breakfast, our driver will wait to pick you up and we head north of Jordan to visit Ajloun Castle, sitting on the mountaintop with amazing views! Ajloun Castle is the 12th-century Castle built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders.
After leaving Ajloun, we will head to visit one of the most amazing roman cities in the world: the city of Jerash. It’s a 1-hour drive north of Amman; the way is mainly green and scenic. After we are done with Jerash visit, we will head to Amman in the afternoon for a panoramic tour, we go to the rainbow street for a walk and experience the local atmosphere, transfer to your hotel for overnight.
Day 3: Amman - Amman City Tour - Desert Castles – Amman After breakfast, we start the day visit Amman; we visit the Citadel of Amman overlooking the entire city, we then descend to visit the Roman theater, two of the most popular archaeological sites in the city. Then we head east into the desert and visit Jordan’s Desert Castles. They are beautiful examples of early Islamic art and architecture, with fine mosaics and fresco. See the stunning artwork in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Qaser Amra.
Later we go back to Amman to visit the old town, and experience more of the city’s souks and cafes, then to your hotel for overnight.
Day 4: Amman – Madaba – Nebo – Al Salt (Harmony Trail) After breakfast, Drive to Madaba to visit Saint George’s church, where you will see the Mosaic of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo to visit the site where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land.
Afterward, we will head to Al-Salt, a hilltop town about a 40-minute drive from Amman. The city has many old yellow limestone buildings, and small narrow streets full of shops and stalls. It is also an example of a good understanding between the local Muslim and Christian populations.
You will take a walk on the “Harmony Trail” to learn more about the city and local life in Jordan, you will also have lunch with the locals to taste the delicious Jordanian cuisine.
By the end, we will go back to Amman for overnight.
Day 5: Amman – Dhana Biosphere Reserve – Feynan After breakfast head south towards Dhana
Dhana is Jordan’s largest nature reserve, covering some 320 square kilometers of spectacular mountains and Wadis along the face of the Great Rift Valley.
Such a combination of natural communities in a single area is unique in Jordan and many of Dana’s animals and plants are very rare. You will have a 2 hour guided hike in Dhana reserve before departing to Feynan for overnight.
Day 6: Feynan – Petra After Breakfast depart to Petra
Today you will visit the site of Petra, The legacy of the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago.
Admired then for its refined culture, massive architecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels, Petra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.
The traditional way through the Siq (Canyon) guided tour through the Siq to the Treasury.
We will visit the Treasury, city center, the Royal tomb, and the theater, the High Place of Sacrifice and the Roman soldier tombs, and many others.
Overnight in Petra.
Day 7: Little Petra - Wadi Rum After breakfast, we go to visit little Petra, Like Petra, it is a Nabataean site, with buildings carved into the walls of the sandstone canyons. As its name suggests, it is much smaller, consisting of three wider open areas connected by a 450-meter canyon.
After little Petra to Wadi Rum for a jeep adventure, we will explore the spectacular scenic desert landscape Jordan’s largest desert.
You will get to see the Nabatean Scripts, Lawrence’s House, Lawrence’s face, Burj Um Frouth, and the Mushroom mountain.
Dinner and overnight in Wadi Rum
Day 8: Wadi Rum - Dead Sea After Breakfast, we will depart Wadi Rum and Head towards the lowest point on earth! The Dead Sea. Overnight at Dead Sea.
Day 9: Free Day at the Dead Sea Relaxing by the Dead Sea beach, reflecting on your adventure. Overnight in Dead Sea.
Day 10: Dead Sea - Departure After Breakfast, have some free time till your time of Departure, Transfer to QAIA.
